Ms Nontando Molefe is the founder and creative visionary behind Phatsima Jewellery Designs, a distinguished South African jewellery brand celebrated for its bespoke diamond jewellery, exceptional craftsmanship, and distinctive design.

Her journey in jewellery began at a young age and has grown into more than two decades of experience in the jewellery industry.

A graduate of the University of Johannesburg, Ms Molefe combines formal training, natural creativity, technical expertise, and a deep passion for the craft.

Her vision has guided Phatsima from its humble beginnings as a home-based business operating from a small Wendy house to an established brand with a showroom in Lonehill, Johannesburg, and a growing presence in international markets.

Throughout her career, Ms Molefe has built a reputation for creating timeless, meaningful jewellery with meticulous attention to detail. Her work has attracted a diverse and discerning clientele, including corporate organisations, high-net-worth individuals, community leaders, royalty, media personalities, and figures within the entertainment industry.

Her talent and dedication have been recognised through numerous industry achievements. In 2004, she was named among the Top 10 Designers in South Africa in the AngloGold Riches of Africa competition.

In 2005, she was a Top 3 finalist in the South African Mint Jewellery Design Competition, followed by her completion of the Design@50 Postgraduate Programme in 2006.
